Michael did his Ph.D. at the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf under the supervision of Dagmar Brub.
Michael attained his B.Sc and M.Sc at the University of Siegen and Vienna. His past research topics include; Bell inequalities and quantum repeaters based on error correction. Currently, Michael is interested in further developing methods to describe quantum networks, quantum effects that emerge in multipartite systems and requirements for quantum repeaters in this context.
